On May 7th we took ten U13 girls to Exeter Athletics Arena to compete in the first South West League meet of the season as part of the YOAC team. Wrapping up the season with details of League finishes and achievements
Following on from last years promotion, our womens and mens combined team consolidated their place in Division 2W of the SAL with an excellent hard fought victory at Andover on 15th August. After a tough start to the season this team came out fighting and won the last two matches of the season to finish in a creditable 6th out of 16 in the league.
With a stunning victory in their final league match of the season, in glorious weather at sunny Yeovil, our BAL team capped off their most successful season with a third place finish in the league, effectively ranking them the 27th best mens team in the UK. Well done to all the athletes, officials and team managers Jacquie Silcox and Simon Prior.
Fantastic win by the YOAC U17/20 in the YDL in Gloucester on Sunday 26th of July making it 4 wins out of 4, winning Division 1 and gaining promotion to the Midland SW Premier Division next season! Well done to all who have competed at any of the matches this season.
